About the Album: Ode to the Moon

This album An Ode to the Moon is a tribute to the feminine - the deep, intuitive, and emotional side within all of us. This album was created during one of the most intense times of my life, a period where music became my most honest way of processing everything I was going through.

The recording took place at Ayasa Studios, together with my dear friend, composer, and sound engineer Bummela. Every sound on this album was created with the handpan - except for “Standing at the Gate”. My goal was to take the handpan beyond its usual meditative and acoustic space, to push its boundaries, and to place it in a new musical context.

An Ode to the Moon is a deeply introspective work. It reflects my search for balance, connection, and new ways of expression. Just like the moon, always changing and revealing different phases, this album mirrors the transformation and growth I experienced during that time.
